Resincoat oil tolerant primer is an easy to apply, high strength epoxy resin sealer designed to provide an effective membrane against residual oil contamination in concrete substrates.

Resincoat Oil Tolerant Primer is applied in wide range of environments where there has been high exposure to oil leading to residual contamination. These conditions are common to MOT bays, engineering workshops and many other warehouse and factory spaces. Oilguard can be used as a primer for paint installations or as a simple dust-free sealer. This epoxy primer is also suitable for use where a DPM is ineffective, providing tolerance of relative humidity readings of up to 85%.

Please note that if the substrate is heavily contaminated with large amounts of oil, additional preparation or cleaning may be required. We recommend use of Resincoat Degreaser.

Resincoat Epoxy Primer is a low viscosity solvent free epoxy primer used to seal and prepare surfaces prior to painting. It is an industrial twin pack primer that absorbs into the existing substrate, cures stronger than concrete itself and seals effectively. By using an epoxy primer you improve the coverage on quality of your top coat. This epoxy primer in particular adheres extremely well to epoxy based paints as well as polyurethane resin systems
