Preparation:
Before applying our coating ensure your surface is dry, clean and free from any dust and debris. If it has been previously coated, loose, flaking paint should be stripped back to bare wood. Test a small area first for colour and adhesion.
Application:
Brush/Roller:
1. Stir the product thoroughly, before and during use.
2. Brush or roller the product evenly along the grain of the wood.
3. Resincoat shed paint should be touch dry within 4 hours. Once coat 1 has been applied, leave to dry for 4-6 hours & repeat for coat 2 if required.
Spray Gun:
1. Stir the product thoroughly, before pouring contents into your chosen spray gun. The formula should be diluted down with up to 10% water. Refer to the sprayer user guide for full instructions before every use.
2. Cover any nearby surfaces in case of overspray. Any overspray should be cleaned up immediately (whilst still wet) with water and household detergent.
3. Resincoat shed paint should be touch dry within 4 hours. Once coat 1 has been applied, leave to dry for 4-6 hours & repeat for coat 2 if required.
Please note: When working with Resincoat Garden Shed Paint, it is possible for you to wash your tools, brushes and rollers with warm, soapy water once you have completed your project.
*Important: Cement posts & gravel boards will always need 2 coats.
