DESCRIPTION
No fuss floor paint
At Resincoat we are always trying to improve our range and develop new products that are cost effective, easy-to-use and look great. Our concrete floor paint achieves just that. The one-pack formula makes the paint extremely accessible, just give it a thorough stir and then you're ready to roll it onto your floor. This floor paint has been tested and compared to the competition and has proven to be tougher, longer-lasting and just as good looking as coatings twice its price point.
Choosing the right paint
Resincoat Concrete Floor Paint is, as the name suggests, a great choice for concrete floors. The formula is an excellent choice for home use in basements as a dust-proofing and sealing paint, in workshops, sheds and garages as a decorative coating that has a tough finish. However, if you need one of our more robust two-pack systems, the following are excellent choices:
For the toughest professional finish consider: Resincoat HB Epoxy Garage Floor Paint
For a chemical resistant finish consider: Resincoat Chemical Resistant UVR Floor Paint
For an high build anti-slip option try: Resincoat Anti-Slip Floor Paint
COVERAGE RATES
Please see below for coverage rates. If you are coating a large area and would like expert advice, please call our team who will be happy to assist you.
5kg: 35-50m²
Please note: the above coverage rates are per coat, in most cases we advise 2 coats, and is dependant on porosity of the surface.
APPLICATION GUIDE
Preparation
Old paint finishes should be removed if flaking at all. Suitable etching formula should be used, such as Resincoat Etch and Clean, to create a mechanical key for the paint to adhere to. After the surface has been completely abraded, thoroughly sweep and vacuum the area of any remaining dust or contaminants. Apply only in dry conditions - ideally the coating should avoid rainfall for 2 days where possible. 7 days should be allowed before jet washing. For more information on preparation, please see technical data sheet.
Please note: Due to the amount of variation in patio substrates, we highly recommend applying to a small test area first to ensure a perfect bond and desired finish.
Application
We recommend the weather be dry & warm whilst applying this product but not overly humid.
1. Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
2. Apply your first coat with a brush or roller (start at the corner of painting area and working inwards).
3. Leave to dry for between 4 to 6 hours.
4. Apply your second coat (two coats are recommended).
5. If you have paint remaining, the tin can be re-sealed and stored for later use.
Please note: When working with Resincoat Concrete Floor Paint, it is possible for you to wash your tools, brushes and rollers with warm, soapy water once you have completed your project.
Once applied, ensure the floor is not subject to any contamination as this could cause the coating to fail.
