Decorative Wood Floor Paint

Easy to apply this one pack acrylic coating requires no mixing making it an ideal solution for DIY and domestic users. The paint is UV stable and if required could also be used on outdoor areas providing a tough finish that will not fade or discolour. Due to its smooth finish it is perfect for use on flooring in areas that are prone to dust build up. Easy to clean and maintain you can ensure you wooden flooring will remain in great condition.

APPLICATION GUIDE
Preparation
Old paint finishes should be removed if flaking at all and the surface should be sanded to create a texture (also known as a mechanical key) prior to applying Resincoat Wood Floor Paint. After the surface has been completely abraded, thoroughly sweep and vacuum the area of any remaining dust or contaminants. For more information on preparation, please see technical data sheet.
Application
We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.
1. Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
2. Apply your first coat with a brush or roller (start at the corner of painting area and working inwards).
3. Leave to dry for between 4 to 6 hours.
4. Apply your second coat (two coats are recommended).
5. If you have paint remaining, the tin can be re-sealed and stored for further use.
Please note: When working with Resincoat Wood Floor Paint, it is possible for you to wash your tools, brushes and rollers with warm, soapy water once you have completed your project.
Once applied ensure the floor is not subject to any contamination as this could cause the coating to fail.
